APD lieutenant accused of sexual assault of child
AUSTIN, Texas - Austin Police Lieutenant Dustin Paul Lee is accused of sexually assaulting a girl under 17 years old last Thursday.
Round Rock police arrested him Sunday, since they say the assault happened in Williamson County. Records show Lee was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant in at APD in 2017.
The Austin Police Department released a statement:
Fox 7 Austin reported in 2008 that Lee was fired from the department for sexually harassing a female civilian employee. An internal affairs investigation revealed that Lee was making offensive comments about the woman’s clothing and her sex life.
