At least one person injured in fire started by lightning
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - At least one person was injured following a fire in North Austin on Saturday.
According to the Austin Fire Department, first responders were dispatched to the Cricket Hollow apartment complex in the 11400 block of North Interstate Highway 35 around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. The fire is believed to have been started due to a lightning strike, according to AFD.
The fire was called in as a second alarm, according to firefighters.
One adult male suffered critical life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by first responders with the Ausitn-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
