Austin ISD board votes to rename Fulmore Middle School after longtime educator

AUSTIN,Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Austin ISD’s Fulmore Middle School now has a new name.
Board members approved renaming the school after Sarah Lively who spent 47-years teaching.
Fulmore's name was under debate because it had confederate ties.
It was one of five schools in Austin ISD with confederate ties that officials are looking at renaming.
