Austin police commander fired following allegations
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Commander Jason Dusterhoft was indefinitely suspended from the Austin Police Department following a lengthy investigation into allegations that he choked a woman multiple times to a state of unconsciousness during “rough sex,” according to a 17-page disciplinary memo.
The memo also alleges that Commander Dusterhoft associated with people who were purchasing and using illegal drugs, tampered with or fabricated physical evidence and attempted to interfere with and/or obstruct the IA investigation into the allegations.
According to the disciplinary memo, a woman who was involved in a sexual relationship with Commander Dusterhoft contacted the Austin Police Department about injuries she had received from him. The woman documented her injuries with photographs. Further investigation determined that Commander Dusterhoft had assaulted the woman on multiple occasions during "rough sex."
