Ex-boyfriend of missing Temple woman arrested, two still missing

TEMPLE, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Wednesday, Temple police said the ex-boyfriend of 28-year-old Jenna Scott was arrested in Michigan on burglary charges, out of Temple.

Scott filed a restraining order in July, which after an August hearing, was dismissed by the judge.

According to an arrest affidavit, just days after the hearing, the ex-boyfriend broke into Scott's home and threatened her. Temple police are not naming the man, because they are not 100 percent sure he is tied to the duo's disappearance.

Temple police say 28-year old Jenna Scott and 32-year-old Michael Swearingin left from her home in Temple and were headed Austin. They were last heard from just after 3 am. on Friday, January 4.

Austin police say they found the pair's car, a gray Hyundai Genesis, in Austin. However, Scott and Swearingin were nowhere to be found.
