Man killed in North Austin motorcycle crash
AUSTIN, Texas (Fox 7 Austin) - A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night.
Austin Police said three motorcyclists were heading east on Howard Lane, near Dessau Road, around 7:30 pm when one hit a curb, lost control and was thrown from the bike.
The man in his 30s was taken to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later died, according to police.
Officers said the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Another motorcyclist suffered minor injuries from losing control of his bike.
It is not clear if alcohol or speed factored into the crash.
