Man suffers 30-40 foot fall in area off Mount Bonnell Road

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A man in his 20s has suffered critical life-threatening injuries following a fall in an area off Mount Bonnell Road, according to ATCEMS.

ATCEMS tweeted Wednesday afternoon that they were responding to a reported land rescue at 5221 Mount Bonnell Road. Austin firefighters and paramedics carried the man out of the location.

Initially it was believed the man suffered a 15-foot fall. This was corrected to 30 to 40 feet and the man was declared a Trauma Alert. 

The man was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center.
