Precourt Sports Ventures has released new conceptual renderings of the potential stadium and soccer park at McKalla Place in North Austin.

The renderings from Gensler, TBG and CAA ICON provide a southwest aerial view, an interior and a northwest entry gate view.

Principal and Design Director of the Gensler Sports Practice Jonathan Emmett said in a news release that the soccer park is influenced by European venues "with intimate seating bowls that put fans right on top of the action" but that they're also "drawing heavily on the incredibly diverse and vibrant local culture" which will create what Emmett says will be a "uniquely 'Austin' experience for MLS fans."

Emmett goes on to say that the venue and match day experience will have local food and beverage as well as live music and technology.

For the hot summers, Emmett says the design of the roof canopy will make sure there's plenty of shade and cooling breezes.
