Operation Front Porch begins in Round Rock
The holiday season brings gifts and with gifts come the possibility of package theft.
The Round Rock Police Department is encouraging residents of their community to participate in Operation Front Porch this holiday season. The program allows residents to ship your holiday packages to your local police department for secure delivery.
According to RRPD, this program is open to all Round Rock residents, free of charge.
The Round Rock Police Department will be accepting packages from Thursday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Dec. 22. Dec. 22 is the last day to pick-up your package.

Packages must be under 50 lbs and picked-up within three days of arrival at the police department. Also, the name of the person picking-up the package must match the name on the mailing label.
