Police: Body found in Round Rock pond

ROUND ROCK, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A body was found in a pond near Viscaya Parkway and University Boulevard in Round Rock.

According to police, the body was found in the afternoon on Wednesday, December 12. Police with the Round Rock Police Department responded to the area after a nearby resident called in about the adult male body around 5 p.m. The victim's age and identity have not been released at this time.

Police do not suspect foul play and say there is no danger to the public.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
