Police investigating suspicious death in the Onion Creek Greenbelt
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Austin police are investigating a suspicious death in the Onion Creek Greenbelt.
Officials say a man was walking his dog at around 7:30 p.m. and called 911 to report finding a body.
Officers arrived to find the body of a Hispanic man in his 30s and officials say there was obvious signs of trauma.
The body was about 50 feet from the roadway at Onion Creek Drive and Springville Lane.
Officials believe the body had been in the location for less than 24 hours. Police say the body was found in a pretty secluded area.
Police believe this was an isolated incident and that there is no danger to the public.
