Reward offered as Austin police search for murder suspect

Austin police are searching for a murder suspect after a deadly shooting at a South Lamar apartment complex.
APD said they received a call on Monday afternoon about shots fired at the Post South Lamar Apartments. When police arrived they found 32-year-old Christian Meroney with serious injuries. Police said Meroney died on the scene.
His death has been ruled a homicide and officials said he died from a gunshot wound.

Officials are offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible.
