Search and rescue teams are trying to locate a 25-year-old man who has been missing since Saturday (10/6) morning.

Friends of Christopher White say they rented a home near the Colorado River and City Park Road in Travis County for the weekend.

After attending Austin City Limits Festival on Friday (10/4) and swimming in the pool behind their rental home early in the morning the next day, friends say they realized Christopher was missing when they woke up at around 9:30 a.m.

Beau Webb says, "We're not sure if he walked out of the house or where he walked to the last contact was out on the patio facing the river."

Christopher is described as 6'4" with curly, short dark brown hair, hazel eyes and a thin build. Friends say he was wearing blue swim trunks the last time they saw him and most likely nothing else.

Christopher's parents and girlfriend flew in to join volunteers and search for him all Sunday.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office, Austin Search & Rescue and Travis County Search & Rescue are also assisting in the search by helicopter, boat and with K9s.

Christopher's brother Matt says part of the reason it isn't making sense is that Christopher is no stranger to wooded areas like the one near the rental home.

If you have any information or know of Christopher's whereabouts you're asked to contact authorities or his family and friends on social media.
