Two dead following car fire on East Riverside Drive

Two people are dead after a car caught on fire Saturday evening. 

According to ATCEMS, paramedics with Austin-Travis County Medical Services and firefighters with the Austin Fire Department were called out to the intersection of East Riverside Drive and Vargas Road on Saturday, November 11, 2017 after a vehicle had caught on fire. 

Two people were pronounced dead on scene. 

The Austin Police Department is currently investigating.
