Allbirds opens up first Texas store in Austin
AUSTIN, Texas - San Francisco-based shoe company Allbirds has opened up its first store in Texas with a variety of touches that uniquely capture the feel of the Lone Star State.
Each store has its own color pop so it's no surprise that the color choice in the Austin store is inspired by the Texas Longhorns and is burnt orange. Another local touch is at the service bar, where customers can make purchases, which features reclaimed local wood.
Another thing each store has is its own lace colors that reference local themes. The Austin store laces colors are Barton Springs Teal, yellow with red speckles (inspired by breakfast tacos) and Bat Bridge Grey Green.
The company is also launching a limited-edition Austin only pair of shoes in February inspired by the moon towers. The color of the shoes is inspired by the moonlight glow of the towers illuminating Zilker Park.
