AUSTIN, Texas - A new "eatertainment" destination has opened up in downtown Austin right on Congress Avenue.
Punch Bowl Social is located in the 1910 Scarborough Building at 6th and Congress and the history of the location is incorporated throughout the space.
The space combines the mountain lodge feel with Victorian, mid-century and industrial design. Since the building was the site of Austin's first department store there's nods to classic menswear patterns and even a mannequin arm art installation.
The close to 20,000 square foot space across two levels is filled with a variety of social games.
Those games include classic arcace games, bowling, darts, karaoke and more.
There's also plenty to eat and drink with signature punches and scratch made food.
If the concept looks a bit familiar that's because it's the second location for the franchise in Austin. There's already a location in The Domain which was recently rennovated to inlude a mini golf experience.
