TxDOT launches "Be Safe Drive Smart" campaign

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Texas Department of Transportation is launching its work zone safety initiative, "Be Safe, Drive Smart."

TxDOT will be partnering with law enforcement and safety advocates to ask motorists to stay alert and slow down when driving through work zones. TxDOT will also be offering tips to motorists on driving safely through road maintenance and construction zones.
