2019 Austin Empty Bowl Project

AUSTIN, Texas - You can help raise money to help feed Central Texas kids in need by choosing from thousands of handmade bowls, enjoying some soup from local restaurants and listening to some live music.

The Austin Empty Bowl Project has been going on since 1997 and FOX 7 Austin is one of the proud sponsors of the event.

The event is always the Sunday before Thanksgiving, this year it's November 24, and your $25 donation goes to Kids Cafe which is a program of the Central Texas Food Bank and Meals for Kids which is a program of Meals on Wheels Central Texas.

Austin Empty Bowl will be at the Central Texas Food Bank located at 6500 Metropolis Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
