Man arrested for DWI after killing pedestrian in crash near Riverside
AUSTIN, Texas - A man was arrested for a DWI after killing a pedestrian near Riverside, Austin police said.
Police said on Dec. 15, around 6:49 a.m., officers responded to a pedestrian crash in the 2000 block of E Riverside Dr.
The pedestrian, later identified as Juan Melesio, was pronounced dead.
The driver, 30-year-old Ali-Mbemba Kembilu, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI).
