APD, FBI investigating robbery at Woodforest National Bank

The Austin Police Department and the FBI Central Texas Violent Crime Task Force are working together to investigate a bank robbery at the Woodforest National Bank, located at 13201 N. FM 620. The robbery happened around 1:14 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020. 

The suspect entered the bank, presented a note demanding money, and fled the scene on foot, according to the Austin Police Department.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect, pictured above, is described as:

  • Hispanic male
  • Estimated to be 5'7"
  • Medium build
  • Described as young-looking

The suspect was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt, dark-colored pants, and a medical-style mask.
