“His poor family, poor family. The day after Thanksgiving, here it is and someone has to lose their life over nothing you know? Over nothing.” said Sheila Henderson, who works near the crime scene.
“Yeah, real young, real young, big tragedy.” said Patsy Trevino, who lives near the crime scene.
On Friday, police were unsure of exactly where and what took place. They were processing multiple scenes: one in the parking lot of a Passionate Spirits near Walgreens and the others near Mehls and the Texan Motel, and Jeff’s Auto Body Repair Inc.
Multiple “persons of interest” were detained Friday afternoon.
“We believe that these individuals somehow knew each other, so, we don’t believe that it was a robbery of any sort,” said Davis.
