AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest from a fatal shooting of 28-year-old Jannerra Williams that happened at a Quality Inn Hotel on Sunday, May 5.
The person of interest can be seen on video that was obtained from Quality Inn cameras.
According to police, dispatch received reports of shots fired at the Quality Inn in the 7900 block of Gessner Drive around 8 p.m. on May 5. When officers arrived on scene, police found Jannerra Williams with fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene at 8:31 p.m.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the persons involved in this murder. If you know who this individual is, please call ATX Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS.
