APD: Two overnight stabbings in North Austin
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department has confirmed two separate stabbings that happened overnight in North Austin.
One stabbing occurred late Saturday night, while the second stabbing happened early Sunday morning.
According to APD, the first stabbing was a domestic violence case that happened around 11 p.m. at the 1600 block of East Anderson Lane in North Austin. One victim suffered critical but non-life threatening injuries.
The second stabbing happened just after midnight at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the 7300 Block of East Highway 290 service road.
According to police, one man is in custody while the victim was left in critical condition.
