Arlington Police identify persons of interest after racist flyers distributed in neighborhood

The Arlington Police Department says it has identified persons of interest in relation to racist flyers placed around the city on Tuesday by a white supremacist organization.

The department is still investigating the incident and is attempting to determine if any crimes were committed by the people distributing the materials. A spokesperson for the department said it will “vigorously investigate all hate incidents.”

The group left flyers on lawns in North Arlington that said “report any and all illegal aliens. They are not immigrants. They are criminals.” Neighbors reported seeing men in a white pickup truck distributing the flyers.

Police said the group also hung a banner at Copper Street and Interstate 30 that said “America First, Patriot Front.” The banner was taken down by officers responding to a suspicious person call at the location.

Similar flyers have also appeared at UNT, Collin College and Weatherford College.
