ATCEMS: Man's body recovered from water

SPICEWOOD, Texas - A body has been recovered by rescue crews Sunday afternoon. 

According to ATCEMS, at around 4 p.m., multiple rescue assets responded to a report of an adult that was swimming near 0 Muleshoe Bend Dr, who had gone under the water and never resurfaced. 

Rescue assets eventually located the missing adult man and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Three swimmers from Star Flight and Pedernales fire assisted in finding the man's body. ATCEMS is reminding people to stay safe while enjoying outdoor activities.
