ATCEMS responds to drowning at Walter E Long Lake in East Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin-Travis County EMS and Austin Fire responded to a reported drowning at Walter E Long Lake in East Austin around 4 p.m. Friday. 

ATCEMS reported an adult patient was pulled from the water unconscious and CPR was administered. 

STAR Flight was also on scene. 

At approximately 5:30 p.m., ATCEMS reported the patient is awake and talking. The patient has been transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with non-life threatening complaints.
