Attempted kidnapping at Wimberley Dollar General
WIMBERLEY, Texas - The Hays County Sheriff's Office says it's on the lookout for a suspect of an attempted kidnapping of a woman in the parking lot of a Dollar General at FM 2325 and Carney Lane In Wimberley on March 4.
In a press release, the Hays County Sheriff's Office says the suspect is described as follows:
White Male
Approximately 5'9" to 6'0"
Short "Burr" style haircut
Stubble sandy blond beard
Wearing a camouflage shirt/jacket and blue jeans
The woman reported that the suspect physically attempted to force her into his vehicle once she had exited the store and was returning to her car. It happened at around 6:30 p.m. She was able to free herself and reported the incident when she got home.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a red Ford Ranger pickup truck.
The Hays County Sheriff's Office says this is considered to be an isolated incident because it has not received any additional calls of this nature in the Wimberley area.
