When it comes to the cities with the most expensive homes, Austin takes the top spot in the state.
A recent analysis by Coldwell Banker ranked more than 2,000 markets across the country based on the average listing price of four-bedroom, two-bathroom homes.
In Austin that is $414,563, which is by far the priciest. Boerne is ranked second at $362,230 and Georgetown is third at $354,266.
