AUSTIN, Texas - Austin ISD is set to hold virtual ceremonies for the Class of 2020 next week and will continue honoring graduates with in-person graduation walks in late June.
The virtual ceremonies will be held on Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 16 on Channel 22, AISD TV, and on the district's Facebook page.

Austin ISD says the virtual ceremony will feature many of the same traditions of in-person graduation ceremonies, including speeches from the principal, superintendent, valedictorian and salutatorian.
The schedule for the virtual ceremonies is:
Monday, June 15
- 9 a.m. - Akins Early College High School
- 10:30 a.m. - Anderson High School
- 12 p.m. - Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders
- 1:30 p.m. - Austin High School
- 3 p.m. - Bowie High School
- 4:30 p.m. - Crockett Early College High School
- 6 p.m. - Eastside Memorial Early College High School
Tuesday, June 16
- 9 a.m. - Garza Independence High School
- 10:30 a.m. - LBJ Early College High School and Liberal Arts and Science Academy
- 12 p.m. - McCallum High School
- 1:30 p.m. - Navarro Early College High School
- 3 p.m. - Northeast Early College High School
- 4:30 p.m. - Rosedale School
- 6 p.m. - Travis Early College High School
Austin ISD says the graduation walks will happen in an outdoor setting and graduates will be assigned staggered times to arrive. Each graduate is allowed four guests from the same household to attend. Safety protocols will be in place with staff onsite providing direction.
Graduates will hear their name announced, pick up their diploma cover and walk across the stage. Austin ISD says because it cannot guarantee an indoor graduation ceremony will comply with health guidelines, the August graduation ceremonies at the Frank Erwin Center are canceled.

Tuesday, June 23
- Akins Early College High School: 8-11 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. at the Toney Burger Center
- Anderson High School: 8-11 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. at Nelson Field
- Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders: 8-11 a.m. at House Park
- Crockett Early College High School: 5-8 p.m. at House Park
Wednesday, June 24
- Bowie High School: 8-11 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. at the Toney Burger Center
- LBJ Early College High School/LASA: 8-11 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. at Nelson Field
- Eastside Memorial Early College High School: 8-11 a.m. at House Park
- Garza Independence High School: 5-8 p.m. at House Park
