Police investigating attempted abduction
The driver got out of the vehicle where he started talking to the jogger before grabbing her and attempting to pull her into the vehicle.
AUSTIN, Texas - Police say they are actively looking for a car and suspect in an attempted abduction.
The incident happened just after 5 a.m. on Escarpment Boulevard near Hillside Terrace Drive.

Officials say a female jogger was heading southbound on Escarpment when she noticed a dark-colored car pulled up alongside her. The driver got out of the vehicle where he started talking to the jogger before grabbing her and attempting to pull her into the vehicle.
The jogger fought the suspect and the suspect fled after another vehicle pulled up.

Police investigating attempted abduction in SW Austin
Austin police say they are actively looking for a car and suspect in an attempted abduction. FOX 7 Austin's Shannon Ryan has details.
The description of the suspect is as follows:
- About 5'7"
- Mid-40s to 50s
- Believed to be of Middle Eastern descent
- Spoke with an accent
- Has black hair that is longer on top and short on the sides
Police say the suspect was last seen driving his vehicle going westbound on 290 a few minutes after the incident.
