Austin police investigating bank robbery & searching for suspect
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Authorities are investigating a bank robbery and are looking for a suspect.
The incident happened on June 20 at around 11:56 a.m. at the Bank of America located at 701 E. Stassney Lane.
Police say the suspect entered the bank, displayed a weapon and demanded money from a teller.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and is described as follows:
- Black male
- 6'0" tall with medium build and short black ahir
- About 215 lbs
- About 30 years old
- Last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, jeans, khaki bucket hat and a black backpack
