Austin ranked number one in WalletHub's 2020 Best State Capitals to Live in

AUSTIN, Texas - Please don't tell anyone, but Austin has been named one of the best places to live in America.. again. 

WalletHub ranked Austin as number one in its report on 2020's Best State Capitals to Live in. In order to determine which state capitals make the best homes, WalletHub compared all 50 across 49 key indicators of affordability, economic well-being, quality of education and health, and quality of life.

Austin ranked number in a number of metrics, including the highest median household income, lowest pre-mature death rate, most attractions, and lowest unemployment rate. 

Austin is followed by Raliegh, North Carolina, Madison, Wisconsin, Denver Colorado, and Lincoln, Nebraska.
