BASTROP, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The City of Bastrop is kicking off its annual music fesitval in the historic district of Main Street.
The festival will last four days and feature more than 30 artists.
The Bastrop Music Festival was such a success last year that the city officials say they had to have a second one.
11 different venues will have shows featuring blues, country, soul, folk and Latin musicians. It's a mixture of night and daytime events so that everyone can come out and enjoy what Bastrop has to offer.
Officials say the festival will be just as hip as Austin's music scene but not as crowded.
The festival wraps up Sunday. Weekend wrist bands can be purchased for $40 at the Copper Shot Distillery or you can also purchase single day tickets.
