Body found in East Austin
Austin police are investigating after a body was found off FM 969 near Lower Drive.
AUSTIN, Texas - An investigation is underway in East Austin where a body was found Monday night.
Police say they got a call around 9:30 p.m. from a person who found a body off FM 969 near Lower Drive.
When officers arrived on scene, the caller led them to the body.
Police say they are investigating the death but, right now, it's not being investigated as a homicide.
