Body found on New Year's Eve identified, ruled a homicide
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Police Department has identified the body of a woman found on New Year's Eve as 23-year-old Nicole Diane Coleman.
Police were called out to the 7000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard after 911 received a call about a body in the woods just after 5:30 p.m. Monday.
When first responders arrived they found Coleman with obvious trauma. She was pronounced dead shortly after.
Officials have ruled Coleman's death a homicide. Little information is currently being released as the investigation continues.
