Body found on East Austin sidewalk
Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Austin-Travis County EMS got a call about a man sleeping at E Cesar Chavez and Comal St. When they arrived to check on him, medics say he had no pulse.
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department says a body has been found on the sidewalk in East Austin.
APD confirmed to FOX 7 Austin a body was found at the intersection of E. Cesar Chavez Street and Comal Street.
ATCEMS received a call about a man who appeared to be sleeping at that intersection a little before 6:30 p.m.
Police say when medics checked the man and that he had no pulse.
Officials say the body is of a homeless man.
The case remains under investigation.
