UPDATE: The brush fire is now reported to be 90% contained at 500 acres.
First responders are battling a 400 acre brush fire in Llano County near the Horseshoe Bay Airport, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service. As of this time, the fire is 10% contained. Residents within the area of brush fire are being asked to evacuate since structures are being threatened.
According to Burnet County Judge James Oakley, the fire started from a spark from a land clearing machine. Judge Oakley shared photos on his Facebook page that show crews battling the flames.

According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, about 150 homes have been evacuated in the area where fire spread to the edge of one community. Those folks were asked to go to Quail Run Community Center. Texas A&M Forest Service also said the airport is not in danger but the fire will burn wherever the wind moves it and crews are working to monitor that.
