Burnet County Sheriff Office looking for escaped inmate

AUSTIN, Texas - UPDATE: Zirkle has been located and detained by DPS and Burnet PD inside the Burnet City limits.

A person committed to the Intermediate Sanction Facility in the City of Burnet has been observed running away from the facility, according to BCSO. 

The subject has been identified as Brandon Scott Zirkle, a 19-year-old white male. Zirkle is 178 pounds, 5'11" with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing red pants. 

Zilker was observed around 4:45 P.M. this evening and was last seen running southeast toward the railroad tracks on the 500 block of Coke Street. Multiple agencies are searching for the Zirkle. 

If you see someone matching the description, do not approach and immediately call 911.
