AUSTIN, Texas - Capital Metro announced Wednesday evening it would be resuming limited service February 18 from 10 a.m to 8 p.m.
CapMetro says only the following routes will be in service, and buses will not be running as frequently as usual:

- 3
- 4
- 6
- 7
- 10
- 17
- 18
- 20
- 271
- 300
- 311
- 318
- 324
- 325
- 333
- 337
- 350
- 801
- 803
CapMetro says the following services will not be in service Thursday:
- No MetroRail service
- No Rail Connector service (Routes 465 and 466)
- No MetroExpress service (Routes 935, 982, 985, and 990)
- No Flyer route service (Routes 103, 105, 111, 135, 142 and 171)
- No Round Rock service (Routes 50, 51, 150 and 152)
- No Lago Vista service (Route 214)
- No Pickup service
- No UT Shuttle Service
CapMetro says fares will remain suspended through Sunday, Feb. 21 in an effort to keep people out of the cold and move them to their destinations as quickly, and safely as possible.
CapMetro previously announced it would not resume services on February 16 after initially planning to do so..
Officials say that the decision was made to it can focus efforts and resources will be used to support emergency operations with City of Austin partners to transport people between shelters and other support as needed.

Randy Clarke, CapMetro CEO, took to Twitter and posted a video in which he had said they had hoped to resume service "as best we can" Tuesday morning. Clarke also added that priority will be given to city emergency operations.
