Hays County man arrested for several serious family violence offenses: HCSO
KYLE, Texas - A man was arrested for several family violence offenses in Hays County.
According to the Hays County Sheriff's Office, on Dec. 21, deputies responded to the 2100 block of Mathias Lane for a family violence assault.
When deputies arrived, they were told the suspect had fled the area, and after searching, he remained at large.

Later, deputies responded to a second assault call at the same home, and learned the suspect had fled again. An arrest warrant was then obtained for Carlos Padilla.
On Dec. 22, deputies surrounded the suspect's home and were able to take him into custody without incident.
Padilla was arrested for serious family violence offenses including: unlawful restraint, interference with 911 call, terroristic threat, and assault on a pregnant person.
