You may have heard of porch pirates - but how about thieves who steal Christmas decorations?

One Southeast Austin neighborhood was hit several times last night- and it's all caught on camera.

Around midnight Sunday, a man is seen in a video walking up to a house in Easton Park and waving his flashlight while taking a sign with his left hand and a Christmas tree with his right. The sign says "Santa stop here,” but in no way did that mean this guy.

The woman who had Christmas decorations stolen from her house says three others in her neighborhood had décor taken from their porch too.

In another video, the guy wearing a light-colored jacket is seen again around the same time, this time trying to get inside cars and he's not alone.

Katrina Ratcliff with Austin Police says no matter what, it's important to call 911.

“So we always advise that you call so we can start a report and if we arrest somebody down the road and they have a bunch of items that don't belong to them - we don't know it was taken unless it was reported. It's still an emergency," Ratcliff said. "You're probably not the only one it's happening to so it's a series at this point."

No matter what's being taken from you, the feeling of violation still lingers.

“So a lot of the times victims feel, okay it was just decorations but that's money that you've spent and it's valuable to you,” Ratcliff said.

As for the victims in Easton Park, they're hoping these videos will help lead to an arrest.
