CEDAR PARK, Texas - Cedar Park police are warning residents of another phone scam.
Cedar Park PD posted on Twitter that someone is calling and claiming to be one of their officers. The calls appear to come from Cedar Park PD's phone number, 512-260-4600, but have a different return number.
Cedar Park PD also says the caller may ask for personal information, including a person's birthday or address.
"A strong reminder here: Do not give out any personal or financial information over the phone!" Cedar Park PD warned.
