APD looking for person of interest in connection to deadly SE Austin shooting
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department is asking for help identifying a person of interest in connection to a deadly Southeast Austin shooting.
Police said on Dec. 21, around 9:35 p.m., officers responded to the Chevy Chase apartments, at 2504 Huntwick Drive, for reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found 34-year-old Mario Damian-Rayas in his car with gunshot wounds. He died from his injuries.
The investigation showed Damian-Rayas was shot in his vehicle by a suspect who then left the area.

Detectives are looking for a person of interest in connection to the shooting.
This is an ongoing investigation.
