CHICAGO (AP) - A U.S. tourist in Mexico City who was shot to death outside a restaurant has been identified as a woman who was celebrating her first wedding anniversary.

Authorities say Tatiana Mirutenko of San Francisco was killed Saturday as she left a taco restaurant in Mexico City's wealthy Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood. Her husband, James, was steps away at the time of the shooting.

The city's prosecutor's office says the 27-year-old Mirutenko was shot when gunmen aboard a motorcycle fired on a man identified as a bouncer at an area bar. No arrests have been made.

Mirutenko's parents live in the Chicago area. Natalie Mirutenko told ABC News her daughter had told her "how wonderful, how safe it was."

Wasyl Mirutenko says they were selecting flowers for a wedding a year ago, adding "today we were looking at flowers for the funeral."
