City at impasse on Shoal Creek repair plan
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - It's been more than a year since a bluff along Shoal Creek collapsed and city officials say they have a two pronged approach to fix it.
Near the collapse, there will be two sets of walls that go down into the earth with anchors in them.
Up higher, near homes, there will be 40-foot long anchors that go into the soil and rock to keep it from crumbling and falling.
The problem is they need homeowners to agree to donate easements.
