City of Cedar Park offering free holiday tree recycling this weekend
CEDAR PARK, Texas - The City of Cedar Park is offering free holiday tree recycling this Saturday.
The city will be accepting holiday trees for recycling in the Cedar Park Recreation Center parking lot on Main Street. Trees will be accepted for free on Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The tree mulch will be used for landscaping at City parks and facilities.

All decorations, ornaments, and stands must be removed from the tree before recycling.

The city is offering a free seedling while supplies last to those who recycle their trees.

Those who don't have time to drop off their tree can contact Boy Scout Troop 233 to pick up their tree and take it to the recycling center for them. Anyone wishing to use this service can contact the troop for details and to schedule pickup.
