Deadly auto-pedestrian crash in SW Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas - The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a deadly auto-pedestrian crash in southwest Travis County.

Deputies are on the scene of the crash in the 23400 block of SH 71 at the Pedernales River. Traffic is being diverted onto Pace Bend Road.

Preliminary reports say the victim was on the scene of an earlier crash and was then hit by the driver of another vehicle and died.
