Deadly crash on FM 969; road closed

DPS is investigating a fatal wreck on FM 969 and Bantom Woods Bend. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area. Jane Lonsdale shows us some alternate routes.

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is looking for the driver in a deadly hit-and-run in East Travis County.

DPS says the driver hit a pedestrian around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on FM 969 and Bantom Woods Bend, and left the scene.

The pedestrian died.

DPS says the investigation is currently ongoing and no addition information is available at this time.
