Williamson County sheriff's deputy injured while helping victims in fatal collision
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas - A two-vehicle crash in Williamson County has left two people dead and one deputy injured. The deputy was injured after helping victims on the scene.
According to WSCO, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at CR 172 and Hester Crossings Road at approximately noon on Wednesday, April 15. Police confirmed two fatalities following the accident.

According to WCSO, a deputy was transported to the hospital after receiving severe burns to his arm and hands while pulling a passenger out of an engulfed vehicle.
"Just spoke to our deputy, he has been released to go home with significant burns to 8 of his fingers, burns to his hands and arm. At home resting with his family," Sheriff Roerbt Chody tweeted later in the day. "Prayers for all those involved at the scene today."
