Ground stop lifted at Austin airport

The FAA had issued a ground stop on all arriving flights Monday morning after it lost communication with the tower.

The FAA has lifted a ground stop for all arriving flights at Austin Bergstrom International Airport.

The Air Traffic Control System Command Center advisory said it had lost communication in the tower.

AUS says that normal operations can resume, but advises travelers to keep checking their flight status for both departures and arrivals if flying today.
